On 17–18 January 2026 in Oslo, Norway, the public symposium Too Many Chefs? Curating Emotion, Collaboration, and Imagination brought together curators from Aarhus University’s Master’s Programme in Curating.

As part of the symposium, I presented “Cooking with Children: Recipes for Child-Curating Practice,” exploring how children can become active participants in curatorial processes. Using cooking as an analogy, the presentation examined shared agency, co-creation, negotiation of roles, and the balance between care and children’s autonomy.
